CAMEL Method and Catholics

Hello everyone,

I recently read an article in the NY Times about something called the CAMEL Method for converting Muslims to the faith. Has anyone heard of it? If so what do you think? Also, why are Catholics not using this method to evangelize Muslims? Despite some of the criticism I read in the article, it actually sounds like a great method to me.
 
I wonder if this is the article.
Instead of talking about the Jesus of the New Testament, missionaries using the Camel Method point Muslims to the Koran, where in the third chapter, or sura, an infant named Isa — Arabic for Jesus — is born. Missionaries have found that by starting with the Koran’s Jesus story, they can make inroads with Muslims who reject the Bible out of hand.

Instead of using that method to show Muslims who is Jesus in Quran, it would be more effective to use Quran & Hadith to show them the other face of Muhammed…
