		 									 					**Campbell's Soup condenses its morals**



				 					Tens of thousands of AFA supporters have expressed their disgust with Campbell Soup Company supporting the gay agenda. AFA asked the company to remain neutral in the culture war, but Campbell's Soup refused. The company said it will continue supporting homosexuals.
According to the Media Daily News, “A Campbell spokesman was quoted as saying, ‘Our plans for the Swanson brand include additional placements in The Advocate’.”

For example, Campbell Soup Company bought in three of the past four issues of the nation’s largest homosexual magazine, The Advocate.

In one of the ads, Campbell Soup Company featured two lesbians and their son. According to the company’s website, the lesbians are married. Not only did such ads cost Campbell’s a lot of money, they also sent a message that homosexual parents constitute a family.

Campbell Soup Company is openly helping homosexual activists push their agenda, which, in turn, shows the company’s approval of homosexuality.

**Moms, it’s time for us to get involved!

** President Douglas Conant. Tell him you are disappointed that Campbell’s Soup has decided to support the homosexual agenda in the culture war.

After sending your e-mail, please call Campbell Soup Company (1-800-257-8443) and their Swanson division (1-800-442-7684) and express your disappointment that Campbell’s is supporting same-sex marriage.

Forward this e-mail to your friends and family so they will know about Campbell’s support of same-sex marriage and the homosexual agenda.

I’m so glad I decided to send a note to telling the AFA to stop spewing Donald’s hate into my inbox after buffalo’s last post!

It’s an AD, there are much more important things we could be doing to help people know Christ than worrying about someone putting a soup ad in a gay publication…

I think I’m going to run to the store at lunch and buy about 50 cans of soup and maybe some TV Dinners, we are running low at home after donating to a needy parish this morning. When I do that I’m not going to feel like I’m promoting the “gay agenda” in the least. I’m going feel good that perhaps someone will have something to eat who is hungry if they need some more.

Precisely! Nowhere are we required to ‘tolerate’ evil. It is by our silence that the agenda of secular humanism has advanced to the sorry state we now see throughout the world.

As you can see by the above posts that Catholics are not united in the fight against evil. Some do not even believe it exists. 😦
 
Enough of us still do.

I’m doubling up on the store-brand soup both for myself and the parish ‘free store.’
 
I don’t understand the OP’s perspective. If enough people attacked you for being Catholic, would you eventually give up and say, “Well, there sure isn’t much public approval for my faith, so here I come atheism!”? If the people making these decisions at Campbell’s hold the belief that gay couples deserve the same respect as straight couples, they aren’t likely to be swayed by an ornery interest group. But if it makes you feel good, send them an e-mail, I guess.
 
It’s not about ‘feeling good.’ It’s about the very real battle of Truth versus Lies.

Sailor Kenshin, you are assuming that those Campbell’s executives think they themselves are evil/might be evil, or that they’re only doing it for the money. Money is obviously a factor. A big one. But I imagine when they read the e-mails people are sending, they ignore them because they believe the authors to be bigots.

What I’m saying is, you need to come up with a compelling argument for Campbell’s to stop doing what it’s doing, because it’s not likely you will be able to get enough people together for a boycott that will affect real change. Arguments that aren’t supported outside the bible suggesting gays shouldn’t be respected will earn you the label “bigot” among those who share opposing views. If you are sending these e-mails because you want to complain and don’t care if you change anything, then your current approach is fine. Job well done. But if you want to make something happen, you need to be sensitive to the perspective of your audience.

I wonder whether a company that places ads in Abortions-R-Us would also meet with widespread approval.
 
Sailor Kenshin, are you really suggesting that being gay is the same thing as having an abortion?
