Can a Buddhist go to Heaven by Lord Christ’s Redemptive work?

The idea was may parents could practice Buddhism and be cleared and clean in their conscience so that they could receive Lord’s Christ Redemptive grace without believing in his name. After reading comments here, I now don’t believe in this. This idea I got from Internet was perhaps an extreme interpretation of Catholicism.

T’is best to come to know JESUS’ Teachings from the New Testament - to the best of One’s Ability…

From that. You … They… would be in a better position to Teach / Accept (or not)
