Can a catholic and born-again christian civil wedding be valid in roman catlholic church?

i am raised as a roman catholic, a devout catholic… my husband by law (civil wedding) is a born-again christian… we havent had a church wedding yet due to religion conflict, does this make our wedding invalid in our church? the roman catholic church?.. thanks!
 
Can. 1108 §1. Only those marriages are valid which are contracted before the local ordinary, pastor, or a priest or deacon delegated by either of them, who assist, and before two witnesses…

A Catholic is obligated by canon law to be married “in the Church” or to obtain permission to be married elsewhere. Since that did not happen in your case then the marriage is considered invalid. You would need to have a validation of your marriage in the Church for it to be valid. Its a fairly simple process and ceremony.
