My intended spouse and I met in our parish at one of the service times that we regularly attended. We are both older, single, divorced, have been granted an annulment in each of our cases, have adult children between us, etc… We both currently serve as Greeters at this same Mass and have dated for over 3 years now. We are discussing marriage and I just thought it would be neat if we could marry in the presence of our parish
family since we are older and are not planning a BIG wedding like the younger couples do.
I had a cousin who married for the second time during a Saturday evening Mass in her parish in another city and I thought it was very special since both she and her spouse were active members in her parish as well.
I have not asked my pastor yet if this is possible. Thought I would ask you first.
Thank you -
