Hello, I have been experiencing the same knee problem for a while now, I have been to numerouse doctors, orthopaedic specialists and physical therapists, but nothing seems to work. I was wondering if it is exceptable for a catholic to try alternative healing techniques. Obviously as a Catholic, I am not interested in any of the psuedoreligious garbage that is often times associated with some of these techniques, but know that there are some legitimate scientific theories as to their actual physiological effects on the body, be it a chemical reaction in the body from natural supplements or the effects of energetic quartz crystals. I am interested in trying some of these techniques, but if it is in violation of Church teaching, I want to make sure to stay away from these treatments. Please advise. Thank You.
