A Catholic wedding can be held on a Sunday, but a couple likely would be counseled to choose another day since a Sunday wedding likely would conflict with the Sunday Mass schedule. Generally speaking, the parish will give precedence to the already-scheduled Masses and will work in special liturgies (such as nuptial and funeral liturgies) around the established parish calendar.
