Can a cute boy who is studying to be a priest have a girl friend?

I was wanting to know. There’s a student that is studying to become a priest. I think he’s cute, I was wondeing if it is possible that he can have a girlfriend? Or will that ruin his chances of becoming a catholic priest? any info will be appreciated. thanks

If he were going with another girl, would you flirt with him or would you consider him out of bounds. I would hope that you would go with the latter.

If this boy shows interest in you without your encouraging it, fine. Maybe God doesn’t want him to be a priest. But don’t you deliberately be a part of such a decision. You don’t want to be competing with God.

Pray for him that he have the courage to do God’s will.
