Can a divorced person receive Communion?

Good afternoon,
I am a divorced Catholic. I was married to a non-Christian. There was no infidelity in the marriage. I do not have an annulment. I have always heard that a divorced person cannot receive Communion. Is this true?

I have always heard that if you are divorced, you can’t receive communion. Is this a church rule and where in the Bible is that found if this is the case? There was no infidelity in my marriage. I also married a non-Christian. Do I need to get an annulment before I can receive communion?
