Can a girl be named Ezekiel?

My friend’s father had chosen a name for his future grandchild. It was Ezekiel because he was hoping for a boy. Then he died before the child was even conceived and it turned out to be a baby girl. My friend really wants to use the name Ezekiel and is wondering whether it is possible to have a female version of it. Do you know of one?
 
It seems to me that your friend has three options:
  • She can use a feminine first name that reminds her of Ezekiel (e.g., Keely).
  • She can use Ezekiel as a middle name for a girl. (Any questions about it can be answered with “It’s a family name.”)
  • She can save Ezekiel for a boy. (“Zeke” is a common male nickname for Ezekiel.)
