Can a good Muslim be a good American?

First there was the Church of England which stands for Jesus as Messiah.

People moved to American colonies and performed acts of terrorism against the British troops until they finally gave up. We don’t exactly know what their religion is except that it has something to do with building Solomon’s Kingdom, and not explicitly for Jesus as Messiah.

Jews moved to Palestine and performed acts of terrorism on British troops until they finally gave up, so the State of Israel was created. It is seen as Solomon’s Kingdom too and it was definitely not built for Jesus as Messiah.

Today the USA and Israel are partners.

And 1 + 1 = 2.
 
My answer would be maybe. If the good Muslim saw that the American Constitution is an excellent form of government and was willing to be a citizen of it, then yes. If, however, the person wanted to replace our government with Shaia law, then no. You cannot call for the replacement of our government with a new form and still be a good citizen.

How can you say that we do not know the faith of the American Colonists? They were overwhelmingly Christian. True, some of the founders were deists, but the country as a whole was Christian.

Most of the people may have been Christian, the masses are led to fight wars for a lot of various reasons but they may not always know the real reason.

Anyone can say they are a Christian but work for opposite ends. Look at Hitler.

The point about Hitler can apply to any religion at all, including Islam (bin Ladin).

Most of the people knew why that war was fought. Quartering of soldiers and unfair taxation were major issues. If you think that there was another reason other than American Soverignty, please share.

What about my point about changing forms of government. Is there any problem with that understanding?

Well there you go. I don’t agree with the list in my original post. I think it was written by a mean spirited individual who doesnt want Obama to be president.

Ok. As member of one of the Native American nations displaced by Christians, as well as a Muslim, I find the topic to be ironically humorous. In addition to issues I already raised.

So maybe it should rather ask, who is a real American, not who is a good one. Since I think someone once said, no one is good but God.

I find this topic to be, as I said in my original post, rather harsh. That would be putting it mildly. I think Mirdath pretty much summed it up in post #3 - it’s hooey. A very closed minded and ignorant person authored that, then floated it around the internet. Someone, equally as ignorant and closed minded is trying to use it to turn people agains obama.🤷 And he’s not even Muslim.:confused:

I did not start this thread to offend anyone. I am sorry if you are offended. But it sounds like you’ve got a lot to say, so start a thread. I’m sure it would be very interesting and get a lot of people to think.
