Is a tribunal approved annulment valid if the submitting party was participating under duress - i.e. - did not want an annulment but did go through the process to completion?
Unlike a dissolution which dissolves a marriage, an annulment doesn’t do anything to a marriage. An annulment is simply the recognition of and declaration that a valid marriage never came into existence. That being the case, technically, no one’s consent is absolutely necessary.
