Can a practicing homosexual be a good Christian?

Same old claims. Jesus quite specifically says in the gospels when judgement day comes those who have visited him in prison, or while he was sick etc. are the ones that will get into the Kingdom. Those who failed to do this will not get in. This becomes my standard of who is a good Christian. I don’t sit around tallying up people’s sins.
This fits your addictions quite nicely.

Ignore what doesn’t feed them, and be self-assured in your willfull ignorance.

Best to you, Goof.

I don’t have addictions. That’s a mighty big assumption on your part.

Well, guess what. We’re all sinners. I guess that means none of us are good Christians.
Since Goof has no concept of what “Christian” means, this makes perfect sense that he’d say this.

You’re making a most beautiful illustration of SO MANY very common errors, Goof. I, for one, REALLY appreciate your wonderful example.

Please continue your most educational exposition.

I have a wonderful concept of what Christian means. I take the whole gospels not just snippets here and there. And while Jesus mentioned sins he never mentioned what sins would prevent someone from heaven. This was Paul’s teaching and even Paul said we are not to follow Paul but Christ.

You are addicted to justifying sin as not-sin. Specifically, justifying “homosexual acts” as not-sin.

You do it habitually. That is your addiction.

Whether you DO “homosexual acts” more than once would be another addiction, but I certainly have no proof of that.

Care to tell us if that’s another of your addictions…?

(( I admit that I have addictions as well, such as coming into these fori/forums and blithering on. ))
