I would certainly hope so. In my experience most churches don’t have the heat turned on early enough for it to be warm when people arrive. It’s especially noticeable when the outside temp gets down to 15 F. Even bundled up I’m cold by the time I get inside. On the other hand if it is bitterly cold you can wear a big thick fleece underneath?
I once read a criticism of those who keep their coats on during Mass instead of being good guests & removing their coats. If the host (priest) won’t turn on the heat, I’m keeping my coat on! Sometimes I’ve had to keep my coat on in early Spring or Autumn because the air conditioning is set too high - and way too early.
