I hope this question is pertinent to this forum, as it is more a canon law than faith question.

May a divorced non-Catholic Christian be accepted into the church through RCIA, and then receive Holy Communion?

The first marriage was I think either in Episcopal church (or might have been civil ceremony).

Complicating factor is that he is now in a (civil) marriage with a practicing Catholic, and they are raising two adopted daughters in the Catholic church.

He has expressed interest in coming into Catholic faith, but I want to know if he will be able to participate in the sacraments.

Thank you.
