Can a soul return from purgatory to request prayer from the living? What about hell?

Pope Francis teaches us not to dialogue with the devil. It is rare for a person to become a great saint.
Our first reaction should be begone satan. And run to Jesus and Mary. Just like Pope Francis said this week.

This chatter said fallen angels made them choose their original forum name. Which they have now changed.

That’s not the work of a holy soul, it’s also not of God. It’s not thoughts a person should be entertaining.

We don’t know what someone else is really experiencing either, in their lives.

I don’t personally think that we have that ability to discern that for them, in my own opinion. They can try and describe it for us, and we can try to help them, but we still don’t really know what’s happening, although we can try and guess. That’s just what I think about it.

I’m not here to argue about it, or to offend anyone with my own comments.

Someone may think that their experience may be demonic, based on what they think that may be, but maybe their experience is limited. How do I know? It could be or it may not be.

The best thing that I think that we can do, is to refer them to a Priest for guidance. 🙂

Being non catholic, this person does not have a priest to go to. And is coming from oriental pagan religious perspectives.

This person is thinking of conversion but will find many challenges in his/her country.
We must take the time to listen, ask questions , and respond, for the bigger picture.
I feel that’s our duty , if we are to respond.
What does the person believe
Who or what doctrines are influencing them
What native culture are they coming from
What are they saying that is against Catholic doctrine- there’s your first port of call for discerning error.

The list goes on.

Remember Luke 16 (NIV)

The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

25“But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.

I am in the process of conversion so I could approach my priest.
