In practicality? No. The logistics could prove to be stressful to the priest and he would be well within his right to not allow it. An altar server’s sole focus should be serving at Mass. A confirmation candidate’s focus should be participating in Mass and the sacrament. These are not completely at odds, but to me, would prove to be a distraction from Mass as the candidate had to rush from one thing to another.

Yes, it would take a coordinated effort to do it nicely. It would prove to be easier if there were a number of servers, too, as adjustments could be made and it wasn’t just one being forced to run willy-nilly from the altar to the place where the rest of the confrimanti sat.
