Can an aborted child be rededicated to God?

I have recently read where Satanists have been involved in abortions to offer up the child to Satan and actually dedicate the child to Satan. Once they do this, what can a regular person do to rededicate this child to God?

I have no idea how accurate the reports you read are. Keep in mind that it is very possible that Satanists, who worship a spirit Christ himself called “the father of lies” (John 8:44), may very well be lying about their activities just to upset pro-life people.

In any case, and assuming there is any truth to such reports, a child in such tragic circumstances is entirely innocent. While we may pray for such a child that his suffering was over quickly and that he is now enjoying the beatific vision, there is no need to “rededicate” the child to God. Rather, our prayers for conversion to God should be for those who perpetrated such evil upon this child (and, possibly, also upon an innocent woman).
