Can an asexual man be a priest?

It’s not an oxymoron in this case, it just refers to someone who is not sexually attracted to other people (often they lack a sex drive at all). They are rare, but do exist. They are still male or female in other ways, but instead of being heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual, they are asexual.

I don’t see how lacking a sex drive would disqualify someone from being a preist. 🤷
The reasoning would be for the same reason that a man with deep seated homosexual attraction is not a proper candidate for the priesthood. Someone who claims to be “asexual” does not have a properly ordered sexuality. The reason, just like homosexuality, is not fully understood. It could be simply a repressed sexuality (psychological) or it could be something medical (hormonal). The Church needs healthy, whole men as priests.
