Hello, again,
Ten days ago, my beloved younger brother ( 8 years younger, than I am) died from a chronic lung disease. We knew that his time was limited, but his passing came as such a shock.
My question is, my brother was an atheist, will he be allowed into the Kingdom of God.
He was a good man with a heart of gold, we were very close and used to talk on the phone twice a week.
I have been talking to my cousin today, who is a staunch Roman Catholic and he said that if my brother had not repented and acknowledged Jesus Christ, then my brother would not be allowed into the Kingdom of Heaven. I cannot believe that this is true, surely we have a forgiving God, my faith is very strong and always has been. My cousin is a good man and he apologised if he was upsetting me, he is very worried about my brother’s soul.
Any advice would be welcome,
