Can an RCIA attendee go to confession?

Hi, I’m sorry if this is a silly question but I am a convert in RCIA and am looking forward to joining the Church during the Easter Vigil. Do I have to wait to go to my first confession till after I am confirmed or is it okay to go now?
 
If you are not baptized then you do not need to go to confession. All sins will be forgiven at your baptism.

If you are baptized, then the normal course of events is for you to go to confession shortly before the Easter Vigil.
