Can an unborn baby have a funeral?

Do we give an unborn baby that was seven months along a funeral? The baby died unexpectedly. There were no issues during pregnancy and an ultrasound that was done two days prior showed absolutely nothing wrong. The doctors need to send the fetus out for testing to see what happened since they don’t know.

In answer to your question, you can give the child a funeral if you like. I recommend that you meet with your pastor to discuss the details.
