My husband is Assyrian born and raised in Bagdad, Iraq. Though he is a U.S. citizen for over 25 years now, Assyrian is still spoken in his home. He also speaks 6 other languages fluently and some conversational words in about 8 others. He and Jesus spoke the same Arabic language and though I know there are Bibles in the Arabic language, where, if any can I find a Bible in the Assyrian language. I would love so much for my husband to have one in his own language and if it is not available how can an Assyrian go about getting one for his people. This is so important considering the war. If only you knew what we know about the truth of the war in Iraq you might ask why the Assyrians do not have their own translation of the Bible and can there be one. Thank you so much and God bless you.
