My Mother In Law wears a bracelet with these images on. I can’t recall where the bracelet comes from, but she would like to know who the people are. One of the images is of Moses, we can’t identity the rest.

TIA

lol, uhhh well for sure that is Jesus there too… ya know… on the cross 😉 . So 2 down 4 to go. Bet you the statue of the woman with the crown is meant to be Mary.

On the left, the one in the center is St. Charbel Makhloof.

On the right, the first one is St. Rafqa of Lebanon.

Thanks cascherman! I thought He looked familiar;)

and thanks bpbasilphx!

It looks like the statue in blue is Saydit Bechwat

Thanks for the clues - bpbasilphx and Chris:)

The middle image on the right isn’t St. Moses but St. Elias.
The statue on the left is Our Lady of Harissa. The statue on the right is St. Barbara I believe.

Actually I am not sure if it is a saint, it appears to be a location (Bechwat), I don’t know what Saydit means, possibly Our Lady of.

I don’t know where she got the bracelet from. It could have been from a home bound communicant she used to bring the Eucharist to.

Yesterday when I was at a diner in NJ (that is where I live) for breakfast our waitress had a similar bracelet with all sorts of saints on it, and I asked her about it (trying to strike up a conversation) and she too did not know where she got it from. So they seem to be popular even though I have never seen them before.

Perhaps its a new fad, or something Coptics/Maronites do.

Thanks for your help though:)

I only see three. I don’t see the one with Christ.

I’ve seen a number of similar ones down here in the SW, not the same Saints I don’t think, but the same style. I think they are pretty popular in Mexico and various Hispanic communities.

yes, here in L.A. they are VERY popular…especially w/ the Latinos but not limited to them, I have seen Asians, and other White folks like myself even have them… I guess you could say it’s a trend, but I like it because it reminds me of the communion of saints.

similar bracelets can be found through the Autom company at www.autom.com I found them as “devotional bracelets” # KT016, JC404 and HC673 for the different shapes of beads…
