Can Atheist Converts Be Forgiven?

I heard that the Unpardonable Sin was to speak evil of the Holy Spirit. Jesus forgives blasphemes against himself, but not against the Holy Spirit. If an Atheist in their belief rejects God and therefore rejects the Holy Spirit afterwords converts into Christianity, will they really be saved from eternal fire or are they doomed to spend eternity apart from Heaven?
