Huh?Ok. So yes, those who are non baptized should not even bother doing charity or living good lives because no matter what them and their actions are inherently evil.
All persons should seek to do good and to do good.
They do not “earn” entering into a state of salvation by doing good works though. That is the point.
Salvation came through the death and resurrection of Christ.
Even in some case of a person never hearing the Gospel who though in the end is saved in a way known to God and not to us - they too are saved by Christ and in relation to his Church.
(PS - Independent Catholic as a phrase is a kind of contradiction between the two words).
