Can Catholics be married outside the Church?

If I got married by a Anglican minister in a living room or if I got married in a drive through chapel in Vegas, as a catholic, would the marriage be recognized by the Lord or is it a false union?
 
Baptized Catholics are required to follow canonical form or be dispensed from it. Otherwise any attempt to marry would be invalid.
