Can Catholics cheer for Tim Tebow

As a Chiefs fan, i’m a little sick of “tebowing”, not because of the gesture, but I despise the donkeys, I mean Broncos 😃 “Tebowing”’ does get old, but I would rather resspect a man in the sports world like Tebow rather than a man like Shawn Kemp who fathered an obscene number of kids with several different women or someone like Barry Bonds.

I would be proud to stand with him as a Christian - put away the doctrine for a minute and just be a believer like he is.

I’m a Charger fan and hate the Donkeys but I find myself watching all their games and cheering on Tim Tebow .There is something unreal going on here. Can’t wait for the Pat game this weekend - will they be Tebowed? I hope he succeeds - as Christians we should all be excited about this.
 
Tim Tebow’s father (and Tim himself) may be surprised when they decide to 'spread the Gospel" in the Phillipines.

HOWEVER, as a Niner Faithful (and just for the record), I have been mad at Roger Staubach since the 1970’s and he is a wonderfully, faithful Catholic man…

SO…I think that Catholic BRONCO fans can cheer for Tebow - and then they need to go to confession for even BEING Bronco fans…

ok…I will go too…for being snarky.🤷

I guess I didn’t sin - I made clear I’m a Charger fan - unless thats a sin too Lol and I’m sure it is to some NFL fans Lol.
 
I like Tim Tebow and admire his willingness to witness for Christ.

However, I would much prefer Eli Manning as my QB, particularly in the Fourth Quarter.
 
In addition to the above, I add that it is a MORTAL SIN to root for the (soulless) Dallas Cowboys

Thank you for a fine example of why the Cowboys will always be America’s team. Even when they aren’t an issue, they are still brought up, either love 'em or hate 'em, few are neutral.😃
 
I won’t be cheering for him this Saturday (Patriots fan). lol
But I think he is a great guy. Good to see someone like him in the NFL.
