Is there a potential husband on the horizon who shares your vision?

And, in view of the responses you’ve had so far on this thread, what do you think is the course you should follow?

I’m concerned that you assume I’m a female. This is not an impending problem at the moment.

Also, I asked here on this forum to gauge the Church’s teachings on the subject. I trust that everybody who’s responded is both more knowledgeable than I and has my best interest at heart.

I’m not sure that there’s a wife in my future that will share my view. There was one young woman, who had a similar idea, but we moved away from each other because of our career paths.

If it came down to it, I know some very wise priests that would be hearing from me a lot.

She’d have to be a Catholic, she’d have to believe what the Church teaches, she’d have to be 100% on board, because I don’t want to pressure anybody into anything against their will.

Yes I did, though on checking I don’t think you indicated. Probably reflects that men (on average) are less likely than women to contemplate a sexless marriage.

Consultation with a priest would seem appropriate.

That’s interesting that you assumed the poster was female. I assumed they were male. I don’t know why.
