Can Christians wear the Star of David?

Hello,

I am curious as to if Christians could wear the Star of David? I mean even though it’s mainly a Jewish symbol, the Jews played a major role in the Old Testament and the house of David was present as well. If we are not able to, why? And also, would it offend the Jewish community if some Christians were wearing the Star of David?
