Can/do members of religious communities hold library cards?

I know many contemplative sisters with library cards.

My own experience with contemplative communities is that they schedule time for recreation and non-religious activities. I know one community that even watched the Spurs as part of their recreation time.

This is such an interesting question. I think all Catholics would benefit from getting to know some a contemplative community personally. They are a critical part of the ministry of the Body of Christ.

I watched parts of the NCAA basketball tournament one year with some Carmelites I was visiting! And my annual Christmas gift to them is a Netflix subscription, as they watch a movie together every Friday evening.
