Hi,

One of my fellow parishioners was told that Episcopal Ministers were being allowed to celebrate Roman Catholic Masses in Roman Catholic Churches. Meaning, in the role of Priest, i.e. no Catholic Priest is present and the Episcopal Minister has NOT converted to Catholicism. My first response was no, but someone else said yes. She said that some Episcopal Ministers are given special dispensation by the Church to say Roman Catholic Masses in areas where there is no Priest. Is this true?

Hi,

Nonsense; your sources are incorrect. The Catholic Church doesn’t even recognize Anglican ordinations as valid. There is no way that such would be allowed.
