Can Eucharistic ministers bring the Eucharist home for private adoration?

Someone recently told me they could bring Christ in the Eucharist to me since I was unable to attend Mass this Sunday. They have been trained as a Eucharistic minister at a former parish, but are not currently serving as such in their new parish. They also said they like to have the Eucharist at home for their own personal Eucharistic adoration. This doesn’t feel right to me. Can you help me out, explain what is proper handling of the Eucharist, and how i should address this with this particular person? thanks so much.
