Can God Fly?

There was an old saint ( i believe it was J. Cupertino), that could actually fly, many people saw him flying around inside and outside his church, he was apparently given this gift by God, so its likely God can fly, but I doubt he would need to do such a thing in the first place, if he desired to ‘be’ somewhere, he could just will it and he would be there, he would have no need to travel in the way we think about it anyway.

It was indeed Cupertino. In fact, it is said, sometimes he would just lift off even with others hanging onto his ankles to hold him down.

No, just because it’s a gift of God does not mean God can do it. I already explained why flight is impossible for God (for one to fly, one must be capable of movement, for one to move, one has be necessarily limited and finite. Since God is neither limited nor finite, it is therefore impossible for him to move, and therefore fly).

That it was a gift means God enabled a finite human being to simply move but in another manner. But it’s possible not because *God *can fly, but because *man *can (either through mechanical assistance or supernatural help).
