It was a PRIVATE SCHOOL. Ed’s whole point is lost. The parents can take their children and LEAVE. Just as at my school, if we seriously breach the moral expectations of our client-parents, they simply LEAVE. Our loss…

I’ve put it to the test by living. Trust me, being gay is never something that anyone chooses…it’s not an easy journey. I’ve had counselling, both by a Priest and a psychiatrist, but my Priest said that in the end…well, I was what I was, and what I did with my life would be judged by God, and my psychiatrist said I was sane, so… 🤷
 
Look you can look at this however you choose. Your behavior is in question not mine. And being defensive is a behavior in itself. Which makes one only skeptical?

Its a simple conversation?

Your being defensive. I’m not attacking you. I don’t roam the streets trying to change people. They arrive at a point where they want to talk. Simple as that.

  1. The primary purpose of sex is reproduction which is motivated by the desire to be physically and psychologically united to a member of the opposite sex.
  2. A (wo)manly (wo)man is hardly likely to be sexually attracted to another (wo)manly (wo)man! Both the physical and psychological traits have to be complementary for there to be genuine **sexual **attraction. Like magnetic poles opposites attract!
  3. **Both sexes have distinctive genetic traits **. The majority are well-defined males and females whereas a minority are noticeably more ambiguous and obviously less likely to reproduce. So there is bound to be a natural preponderance of heterosexuals.

It is naive to believe there are the same proportion of homosexuals in our society as there were in the past now that no holds are barred… 🙂

On the other hand, if heterosexuals were well known in the neighborhood to be sex perverts, yes, I’d want to keep my children away from them.

And as to that other question, it’s none of your business whether I have children, and why do you need to know?

Look at this sentence. “never something anyone choose’s” Doesn’t that right there tell you something.

Now lets look at the next sentence. “never an easy journey”

Unless you are spying on the gays, how could you determine anything for certain? You are making an assumption for one couple that you do not for the other. That is a form of prejudice that one should not expose one’s children to either. It is harmful, a form of social poison that permeates other social wrongs and injustices.

Context is everything. I have two sons, both in teens. Married 22 years to an Irish-Catholic woman. We are both teachers, both liberals all around.

You are responding like someone who has never parented in a larger community where one encounters openly gay couples much more frequently now because the old fears of catching “gayness” like an addiction to a drug are now known to be an outdated myth.

This all goes bad in #4, not surprisingly, where you try to deduce something rather than state facts.

There has been no documented “increase in homosexuality.” Not by anyone, ever. All we have a rough estimates, and the estimates are low and have been unchanging.

Lowering birth rates are well-known to be connected to other social issues. I will let you look them up.
 
Very difficult to talk through chaos. But Jane for example is classic as described in the DSM-IV. It took two posts to reach that conclusion.

Charlemagne your “very” defensive and I believe theres a bit of denial. Thats through 3 of your posts? Is it because of societys attack or you need to defend something you really do feel is wrong?

Look I haven’t really read you posts. Theres this free for all attitude in effect. I don’t look at “people” in any way but as “people”. Yet I study behavior not people or what you are or what society thinks you are. But how you act and talk. Thats all. I’m not judging you and if thats the impression I gave you, I truly am sorry.

You’ll have to excuse my typing I’m wiped out, but I’ll hang out a minute.

But let me put it to you like this. If you reach a point and want to talk and be open and honest. I’ll talk to you all day. If you don’t think you have any issue, why would there be a need to defend anything? I don’t know, I’m just asking so don’t get upset.

That is hardly surprising given that homosexuality was an offence until quite recently. Do you think the concept of sexual liberation is a myth? Would that and the decline in religious belief have had no effect on the incidence of homosexuality?

You are missing the point entirely. The gay agenda tries to manipulate the susceptible minds of children.
The point about the unnatural sex act is that it adds to the normalization process. It poisons the fabric of human relations. It is not a question of whether certain women(how can you definitively say “many women”?) enjoy this practise. We are thinking, feeling beings, not pieces of meat to be arbitrarily given over to another’s whims.
