My husband and I have been married almost 6 years. When we wed, it was by the justice of the peace. He is Catholic and I just recently completed RCIA and received my sacraments during the Easter vigil. My issue that I have is my husband was married before and he was married in the Catholic church. He does not want to peruse an annulment because he does not want to re-live the hurtful stuff his ex and did to him. We do have children and they are very active in our church and have received at least one of their sacraments. Would I be able to apply for a radical sanation so I can receive Eucharist? I feel like I am being punished because of my husbands situation.
