We are planning to marry in a year and I have a specific priest who i want to conduct the ceremony, The marriage will take place in another city than where this priest is. Can i request for the priest to come to the specific church to marry us or only the priests of that church can marry us? ( i will pay for his travel and all thats not the problem)

You may request a Catholic priest (who is in good standing with his diocesan bishop) to marry you at another church or diocese. But then two things must happen:
  1. The priest you ask must accept your invitation.
  2. The pastor of the church where you are getting married must grant permission for your priest to perform the wedding at the parish.
