Hi,
If your parents won’t allow you to become a Catholic now, then you have to wait. You need to ask yourself WHY you want to become a Catholic. If it is because it is the one Church that Jesus actually founded, then I would wait if I were you. A year is really not all that long–although I’m sure it seems long to you. You are in our prayers.
