Can I attend a Protestant Wedding Outdoors?

A friend of mine who is not Catholic is getting married soon on the beach. I know that Catholics must receive a dispensation from their Bishop to have an outdoor wedding, but I have not heard of any guidance regarding the attendance of outdoor Protestant weddings. Can I attend this, or must I only attend the reception afterwards?

As long as it is two non-Catholics being married then you are free to attend the wedding. It is a valid marriage.
