Hello Everybody, thank you all for reading this thread and posting replies.
Again, I emphasize that I did not mean to post this thread on my own behalf. I posted out of concern for some people who are very close and important to me. But I sincerely apologize if the title is misleading (which I now see that it is).
I want to testify that I myself feel deeply inspired and enriched by the Catholic Faith, Church, and Community. Before I encountered Christ through the Catholic Church, I suffered through a very dark, cold, and empty isolation that lasted for most of my teenage and adult life. But through the Holy Sacraments of the Church, Christ gave me new life and forever filled up the terrible and painful void that nearly ended in self-destruction. The love of Christ through His Body, the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic (Roman) Church, continues to renew beyond all measure the hope, peace, and happiness for which I am eternally grateful to Our Father and Blessed Mother in Heaven.
This thread has received some intense reaction from some readers. I am deeply sorry if I insulted or incited anyone. Please be certain that any offense was surely not my intention. However, on a positive note, I do appreciate the deep fidelity to and rigorous defense of the Catholic Faith against any perceived doubt about its sufficiency. Such expressions of faith and devotion are clear testaments to Catholic Christianity’s vitality and significance as a foundation of sanctity in today’s skeptical and unstable world.
