Hello,
My brother has long since left the Catholic Church and stopped practicing his faith, though he was baptized and received his first communion and confirmed. He is going to marry in the Unitarian Universalist Church, but would probably marry anywhere his fiancé wanted. He wants me to be the best man, and I am honored, but my conscience is annoying me because I know they don’t recognize Jesus Christ as savior. Can I in good conscience as a practicing Catholic serve my brother in this way? Neither he nor his bride to be has ever married.
