Can I become a member of a Catholic Church?

Recently moved and I wanted to know if I could become a member of a local Catholic Church. I am married to a divorced person who is Lutheran.

Even though I know that I can’t receive the Holy Eucharist, may I become a member? Up to this point, I’ve just attended mass and didn’t try to become a member.

For reasons that I do not want to disclose, we can’t go through the annulment process on my husband’s first marriage.
