Hello, I recently bought some incense at my local church’s gift shop. Mainly to give a pleasant scent to my home. I’m just confused about it being OK for me to use at home. Up until a year ago I always associated it with “bad” rituals so I have always stayed away from it. I now know it’s burned during mass sometimes. And I was also told you can burn it to keep away bad spirits. I’m really confused and don’t want to do something that is either disrespectful to my Catholic religion or bring forth dangerous circumstances into my house.
