Can I change my confirmation sponsor?

I was confirmed 6 years ago a lot has happened in the past 6 years and as I have grown I have learned that my confirmation sponsor is not who I really thought she was. I feel that she is not someone who can guide me through my spiritual journey. Can I change my sponsor? I feel that there is someone else that can and has helped me grow in my faith.
