I chose my brother and my sister to be the Godparents of my youngest son. That was 6 years ago. About 2 years ago my brother told our family that he is gay. About 7 mounths ago my sister also informed us that she is gay. They are both currently in gay relationships. Can someone tell me if I can or should change my son’s Godparents?

I feel for you, since I am in the same situation with most of the people I chose as godparents/Christian witness for my children.

Unfortunately, no, you can not undo the moment in time when they said they would assist you in raising your child in the faith, stood at the font, renounced sin, professed their faith and witnessed the baptism.

What you can do is ask a faithful Catholic to play the role of godparent in your son’s life.

Just for clarification, I would emphasize role of godparent, and not godparent itself (just emphasizing, not changing what you said).
