Can I church-hop for confession?

If I’m too embarassed of a particular sin to confess it to my parish priest, is it licit to go to another Catholic parish for confession?

On a related note, if a church other than your parish is offering confession at a more convenient time than your home parish, is it licit to go to that church over your home parish?
 
You are free to go to any Catholic priest you wish for confession, even if that priest is not at your parish.
