Are there any other sources where I may find your answer corraborated (that "…emptying or covering holy water fonts during Lent is a modern innovation not found in the Church’s directives" )
Your answer makes sense, but I just can’t find any other documentation which agrees with or opposes your answer. Our church does this, and I don’t want to bring it up if there is legitimacy or precedent supporting it.
