Can I go to a different denomination's young adult group?

Can I go to a different denomination’s young adult group? I have searched for hours online and have not been able to find a Catholic group near me where I fit the age requirement. I really need something to be involved in and the only thing I can find is a group from another denomination.

Since one of the purposes of these young adult groups is to facilitate romance and marriage among the unmarried, it would be vastly imprudent for you to participate solely in a non-Catholic young adult group. (If you were also participating in a Catholic young adult group, the case might be different.) I can only recommend calling your diocese and asking for assistance in finding fellowship with Catholic young adults in your area.
