Can I have a garage sale on Sunday?

Is it a violation of the Third Commandment to have a garage sale on Sunday? I just placed an ad for a garage sale this weekend, and my conscience has since been troubled about it. Should I cancel, or am I obligated to go through with it because I have already placed an ad and taken out a permit? Am I just being scrupulous? Your help is greatly appreciated.

If Sunday is the only day of the week on which it is feasible for you to have a garage sale, there is nothing wrong with having a garage sale on Sunday. If it is possible to hold the garage sale on Saturday, then that’s a good plan for future sales but you don’t have to change an already advertised garage sale.
