I’ve been told that Vespers fulfils your mas obligation, which is how you keep the Sabbath day holy. Yet the Sabbath is at Sunday, so does it count as keeping that commandment?
Told by whom?I’ve been told that Vespers fulfils your mas obligation,
You are correct and the Church, at least in the East, acknowledges Saturday as the sabbath.Shabbos is on Saturdays, as the Torah shows, not Sundays. Catholics say Jesus rose on Sunday in fulfillment of the Law, I say he rested on Shabbat!
Just a personal joke of mine, please no offense.

The Jewish Sabbath ends at Sundown, before the vigils start (in theory).I’m aware the Torah says it’s at a Saturday,
